Photoindex of the animals we saw
I did not want to carry a long lens or heavy camera, so I used a relatively inexpensive little Canon PowerShot SX60HS point-and-shoot that real photographers turn up their noses at. Many images turned out OK, IMHO, despite heavy cropping which sometimes introduces noise and lack of detail. You decide.
We were in our vehicles nearly all of every day, relying on our expert and knowledgeable drivers/spotters.
The identifications are based on Google Lens, from photos of the laptop screen, and on Martha’s consultations with the Kenya birdpack from Merlin. Please alert me to mistakes, and suggest corrections.
